VALIDITY AND RELIABILITY OF THE TURKISH VERSION OF THE FAMILY EMPOWERMENT SCALE FOR CAREGIVERS OF ADULTS WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES (FES-AMT)

Objective: This study aimed to adapt the Family Empowerment Scale for family caregivers of adults with mental health issues Turkish context. Methods: The data is collected from 1 January 2019 15 April 2020. FES was originally developed by Koren et al.and, Kageyama al. adapted it assess empowerment issues, and they tested its validity reliability. sample comprised 223 whose families patients staying at psychiatry clinic a research training hospital those who had applied polyclinic. scale has 34 items rated on 5-point Likert-type scale. scoring subjected two-phase cluster analysis obtain detailed information about caregiver’s empowerment.
